Objectives
The purpose of the conference is to stimulate research and to foster interaction of researchers and practitioners in Intercultural Communication and Cross-Cultural learning. We invite scholars, politicians, and companies to share their insights into the field of intercultural communication competence especially in the EU-ASEAN relation. We welcome empirical research as well as scholars who present theoretically based propositions. Best practices with a business background and best practices from politics are very important to our conference.

Accommodation
Hotel Rendezvous
The official hotel for the conference is Hotel Rendezvous. Located adjacent to the new Singapore Management University campus, the luxurious four-star hotel is situated in the heart the Central Business District.
The hotel is a mere 20 minutes from Changi International Airport, and within walking distance of Dhoby Ghaut MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) station, Orchard Road, the Singapore Art Museum and Fort Canning Park.

Single occupancy - S$125 nett (breakfast included) Double occupancy - S$140 nett (breakfasts included)
Participants who bring their own laptops (with wireless card) will be able to access unlimited broadband connection to the Internet at S$5 per day from their rooms.
Accommodation can be booked by completing and faxing the Hotel Reservation Form directly to Hotel Rendezvous. Reservations are on a first come first served basis. To receive the convention rate, please indicate that you are attending the "Intercultural Communication Competence Conference". To reserve your room, a credit card reservation is recommended. The hotel has a 48 hour cancellation policy.
